I like the simplicity and the feeling of the badge...
Like the shadow below the symbol, gives it a light feeling.
Can you try without the border on the symbol?

Sometimes simple is best... i need to let this sink in a bit.
Can you make one more test; make the cactus a little bit thinner, perhaps flip it horizontal...
