Thanks for your proposals! Actually we are looking for something that is more like an emblem or symbol in combination with our heritage Black forest, Istanbul, Zurich and our initials, F and W. It is nice to have a very clear and clean symbol, like a sign/button. Our names shall only be displayed as a byline underneath. Can you work on this further?

We are actually looking for a sign/symbol/emblem that shows also our background and heritage (Black forest, Istanbul, Zurich), in combination with our initials. May be a byline with our names written out would also be nice. To give you some details on our background please find have a look at these details:
ZURICH:
Well known symbols for Zurich are the “Zurich lake”, “Zurich mountain view” and “Frauenmünster” (see for example http://www.auctionair.co.uk/ft/Low-Bid-Auction/Lots/Lot-13689.aspx).
ISTANBUL:

BLACK FOREST / Sankt Blasien:

"Gänseliesel" is the symbol of the German city Gottingen, where we live now (see for example: http://rocos2k.deviantart.com/art/Gaenseliesel-Vector-277037863 OR http://www.extratip-goettingen.de/img.php?img=2583)
For us it is important to show our background. But we would also like to have modernity and cosmopolitan aspects in the symbol. May be you have some good ideas as the design expert.
