Here is the layout design I was able to come up with for your new site. I thought it might be best if you kept the layout of the logo the same as much as possible--meaning keep the layout for "FANTASEA DIVE" stacked as it is in the original, and then simply move "and adventures" up to make it horizontal. Also, the mermaid can be scaled down further if needed, but I think you still want her to be recognizeable as the original. Finally, to top it all off, I added a blue shadow to all of it (in the exact same color as the waves on the original) for some nice depth. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
I added a white border around everything, which essentially solves all of your color problems! This way on white, the border is not seen, and on blue or any other color the entire logo is framed so that is clear and visible.
