We like #34 and #37. Note that it should be Exercise for Persons with Disabilities. Also, our original brief was not exactly correct. Below is more in line with what we do. (Note that we are not just intersted in spinal cord injury.)

Company Name: ExPD
Slogan: Exercise for Persons with Disabilities
What We Do: Provide appropriate exercise to improve health in those with physical disability
Our Industry: Medical & Dental
Formats Accepted: .EPS only

Top Three Things to Communicate through our Logo:
#1 - Those with physical disabilities can exercise for health and disease prevention
#2 - Exercise improves physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects of life
#3 - The program is led by Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, an official teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School

Our Target Audience:
Individuals with disability (e.g., spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, musculoskeletal diseases) who want to improve their health and wellness through a well-structured exercise program supervised by professionals.

Styles that we are interested in:
Wordmark
Letterform Mark
Emblem

Color Preferences:
Spaulding currently uses teal so the colors should compliment this.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:
We would like to incorporate the current Spaulding emblem; please visit spauldingrehab.org for a look at Spaulding's current site and look.

Great, thanks for the ranking and feedback. Can you tell me if you want the hands incorporated from your Spaulding logo or just the colors? Are there any specific changes you would like to see in entries #34 or #37 that would help refine the design more to your liking? Please let me know! ;0)

The hands do not need to be part of this, but could be (for example rank #2). Colors need not be the same, but at least complimentary. For both, the X seems a bit too large. For #34, maybe 'reverse' the color scheme. (And, don't forget to correct them to Exercise for Persons with Disabilities.)
Great work and thanks!
PS. We extended the contest 2 days to see more options.

Would you be able to email me your logo for Spaulding. I have an idea for the hand and want to use the one from your current logo. I would need it in ai, eps or pdf file format to do it... chaneque@cox.net

Sent PDF of logo. Can the X for #34 be smaller but oriented in same direction and can the font for "Exercise for Persons with Disabilities" be increased (and, sorry for the original screw-up) be corrected?)

No, actually I have never heard of that company Vidi. Next time, please send me a pm.

I really love this one. it's my favorite. Shows lots of movement in the X person icon. This icon could be used on it's own too - not just part of the logo wordmark. please rank and let me know your thoughts.

Here is what I mean about the hand. This hand I am using is different then the Spaulding Logo but I wanted to show you what I meant. It can be altered if you like the concept to match the hand in your logo. =)

showing how it looks all black (or all one color) as lots of things we use our logo's for can not have all the gradients and shading etc. So it needs to work 1 dimension and it does. ;0)

Here is the icon by itself, so you can see how you can use it without the name part of the logo too... ;0)

We like #87, but are now thinking there is too much 'walking' in the X to connote disability.

Logo Designer
To me it's the opposite. It represents someone trying to walk. Someone that is knotted up. The movement of the icon is a person trying to free themself from their condition - trying to get mobile. The icon does not look like it's walking to me. Other x icons submitted by other designers do look like they are walking but to me mine doesn't. ;0) Let me know if you want to see any additional changes.

Good, but it's hard to tell the person is a X. Also can you make the slogan darker.

Client
Sorry to be a pain, but I think this is the best. Contest ends tomorrow. Make the slogan darker -dark grey or complimentary dark blue.
