there is not such a thing as an old school logo, i take it as a compliment, there are few things that emerges from this design , the first is the sign business which is clearly visible, and then there is that word EXEMPLAR, not a simple word at all, but a specific word, an example of excellence, which is exemplar, it was really fun to do this there is no creativity involved is just a math function to make it look like a sign, also leaving the slogan horizontal was part of the fun
