Your contest is in "Selection" phase, meaning that only the 1st ranked designer may submit new designs during this period.
Therefore, in order to see revisions from a specific designer, you simply rank one of his/her designs 1st, even if temporarily.

Yeah we total understand. We would like to see it with an outline around the "body" or something so we can see how it would look on paper and one with a black background.

I`m asking you this because if I`ll make it white, it won`t be visible anymore. It needs a black background for contrast.

Here are the revised versions.
Personally, I think you should have 2 versions: stacked and linear.
This way, you can use either one or the other, depending on the type of space you put it on.
