Hi SteveReinhart:

Thank you for submitting three "Everyone Is Welcome!" concepts.

Please help me understand #129. It appears to be a happy person with a "V" body, inside a sphere.

#127 and #128 are basic and I like that, and they are to the point, but they would be difficult to read if made smaller.

I have also written several public comments about what I am hoping to achieve with the logo. That may be helpful.

Please send along other concepts if you have time.

Sincerely,

Chris

Hi SteveReinhart:

Thanks for submitting more concepts.

I like #239 and #219. The "=" sign used in #234 is already used by a prominent civil rights organization in the USA. So, even if the image could be trademarked, it would not innately mean "Everyone Is Welcome!"

In image #239 it looks like the "e" is slight off center, too much to the right.

Can you say for sure that #239 could be trademarked in the USA and EU? It is dissimilar enough to all of the other "e" logo to be deemed different enough?

Maybe the "e" from #239 could also be used in #219?

Sincerely,

Chris

Hi SteveReinhart:

Can a partial glossy look or shine be added to part of your design #239?

Hi SteveReinhart:

Can you place the "e" in #239 in the same size square used in #266, please?

Hi SteveReinhart:

Thanks for sending more versions of your 'e' logo. I think your logos look great. Real potential here.

Can you show how the "e" in #239 would look in a square, like it appears in top two-thirds of #266 but without the text?

How does #239 look if the colors are reversed, with an outlines circle on its edge?

#279 has a bit too much shine, in my opinion.

Sincerely,

Chris

Good Idea. #306 is a nice looking welcome to EVERYBODY"

Hi SteveReinhart:

Thanks for your comment.

Can you please show the white "e" in a square, separately, like the top 2/3 of #266?

Your ideas are getting very close to spot on!

Sincerely,

Chris

Hi SteveReinhart:

Can you please show me the "e" you used in most of your concepts in #306 and #307?

Also, the "e" in #239 appears to be off center and slightly to the right and possibly a bit high. Can that be tweaked, please?

Sincerely,

Chris

Hi SteveReinhart:

Can you also show #310 without the double boarder, please.

#352 #353 - Note: the "e" is a pure font, meaning I did not tweak the design of the font. The "e" appears to be off-center because the "e" is not perfectly round. Hope that helps explain it. :-)

Hi SteveReinhart:

When you say the "e" is a pure font, does that mean it was not developed by you?

Regarding the "e" being off center, I am speaking about the entire "e" position in the box. I see that the "e" itself is not perfectly round.

Sincerely,

Chris

Can you show #352 with the words and a box around it, please?

Hi SteveReinhart:

The word "Welcome" extends farther to the right than the word above it, "Everyone." Can you align these words more precisely?

Sincerely,

Chris

#373 - Yes, the "e" is the Gothem font.

#374 - tweaked the centering issue.

Hi SteveReinhart:

If I select your "e" concept, will you work with me in terms of making a few options available for my use?

Hi SteveReinhart:

Is the Gotham font you have used royalty free? Can I and other people who display the logo use it for free?

Hi SteveReinhart:

Can you please show me #374, #282 and #373 with no boarder?

The red in #388 is not that welcoming. To me it says, stop.

Can you show #352 with the words both on the bottom and inside the "E" please?

"Inside" like #410?

Hi SteveReinhart:

Regarding #410. Can you show this with the colors inverted. Also looks like the words on the bottom are a bit too much to the left and not centered.

#416 - Again, the "e" font is not perfectly round so you have the illusion it's not centered.

Hi SteveReinhart:

It should come as no surprise that I have selected you as one of my top five designers.

I am interested in your concepts that enclose the "e" in a circle.

I have decided that there is no need for words. I will add the text "Everyone Is Welcome" in various languages later to the logo I select from the LT contest.

Can you plus these designs in some way?

Can you show the logo at various angles? Maybe the logo can have a gloss or partial gloss? Or just the circle or "e" can be in partial or full gloss? While I really like your flat design, can you put a spotlight-type look to it as an option to make it look more distinctive?

Is there a way to make the "e" look like an "e" to English speakers but perhaps tweaked to some extent so it looks more like a symbol to non-English speakers?

I will need the logo selected from the contest with white background and transparency backgrounds. Some business owners who display the logo may not have the budget for two color printing.

I must also be able to trademark the logo in the USA and EU. So, please ensure that your designs are unique enough to pass the test of government regulators.

As you know, the goal of my logo is for it to become an emblem for anti-discrimination. It will proclaim that businesses that display the logo will not discriminated against people for any reason and that "Everyone Is Welcome."

Thank you for sharing your time and talent.

Sincerely,

Chris

Hi SteveReinhart:

I hope all is well. Will you have some time to consider some of the ideas I shared in my last post: April 11th, 2015, 9:23am?

I look forward to seeing how some of the tweaks look.

Sincerely,

Chris
