love the 'in-logo' wave, the clean font and the use of the euro stars (i guess you researched our old logo?). not sure as if the med. grey and light stars might stand out enough in day-to-day use (on light background we might loose the effectiveness of the stars, on dark we might cut short on the grey- maybe outline the stars and darken the grey) thanks great start;-) ps: it's our first time here
Hi Thanks so much for your kind feed back, I've darkened the grey and outlined the stars. I actually haven't seen your old logo, but the first think that came to my mind was the Euro stars it seemed a natural fit. Alos its your first time here, don't worry to much about the lack of entry's so far, there is normally a flood of entry's in the last few days. Good luck with the contest
I have updated this logo to have the Inn, Spa, Rest... span the full length and be more prominent. I've also ensured that this is the case on all other logos submitted
hi SLC, thanks for your entries! yes, Australia, you're just starting your day LOL love the darker stars!!! my hubby walked in and was wow-ed! he likes it hyper modern (real guy stuff, haha) would you mind playing a bit with other font options? like the grey a lot, it's not so harsh than black, as we have female clientele too! but your expertise and knowledge is much appreciated. of course it has to blend in with a historic seaside resort setting... classy, edgy but not shrill, freaky
Ray, thank you for posting your new designs! i like the first ones for the clean-line font, crsip, no frill. could you do up one with out the 'relax, enjoy....' part? not sure if i filled out the application wrong, this i'd like to use more as a 'sloagan' not so much as part of the logo... what's your advice??
it's getting confusing: got a bad review from a friend ( a female baby boomer- lots of $$, avid traveller): too 'corporate' looking with the euro-stars. i however don't want to give up the clean overall look so i browsed online a bit... not easy...
Here are a few updated logos without the relax slogan, i will have a look into your other request today but will take me a few hours. Have a nice evening
Please find uploaded a few new variation's. I've used the font that you have mentioned you like as a base for all. I cant really offer and advice in regards to your Logo as its against the rules set out by LT for designers. But can i suggest that if you would like the relax, enjoy, explore slogan to be left off of all future logos that you put a note in your 'Contest Discussion' just suggesting that you would like this slogan left off.
#17, #22: l still my hubby's hands-down favorite! -could you incorporate a watermark 'e' (handwritten font) in the background? -a way we could work branding with: euroPA, sPA? any ideas?
hi Ray, uph... you've been busy i see... looking good;-) -could you darken as in #44? -make it gold as in #39 -try that also with #23
-how could we incorporate that logo into our spa? any ideas (for afterwards?) euro-pa/ euro-spa ?? (it might not be my right to ask this yet, but i need have that in mind by choosing ultimately our new logo)
Here are a few logos with a solution to the EuroSpa question. I've put an ornate s as a watermark just behind the o So it reads Europa and Eurospa an the same time
In this Logo i have used a Hue of blue, to connect to the Sea side resort and subtle use of Euro stars, Could also be seen as a 5start Restaurant, Resort, Spa
thank you for your wonderful new creations! i like them very much, the subtleness. to be very honest with you, my hubby's fav is still rank#2, he likes the 'frame' with the elegant aqua 'e'. could you darken your writing a tad? i like warmer grey you used a lot! not sure if with your design a frame could be integrated... oh, it's so confusing. (we cannot swing the 5 stars yet- maybe in a couple of years;-) (i feel like a caviar connoisseur who's trying all the best there is always trying to find 'better') thank you for all your hard work, soo much appreciated!
hi again! last request (promise): - could you make the watermark 'e' a tad lighter (as in #105), to put the focus on the main font. - have only one line each at the 'hotel, rest.,spa' (not sure if it has to be made fat then) -make the font 'hotel, rest.,spa' a bit bigger (baby boomers have bad eye sight).
Hi SLC, this is Simones husband - Markus. After an almost sleepless night over the decisions to being made with the logo, I would like to ask you if you could do the following: Entry #167 and # 106 please replace the double line above and below "hotel restaurant spa" with a single line both in #167 and #106 ( black or grey), with maybe a little bigger font. We also are debating about having the " Watermark" removed. Thanks so much.
