Thanks for the feedback. My idea with the penguin was twofold: build an identifiable mascot (à la Travelocity gnome) and that a penguin in the tropics was an "escapade".
I changed it up with a business man. Your input helps, so feel free to make more suggestions.
On #52 can you make the globe a bit bigger and the overall image a little darker?
The images of the guy with the tie flying backwards looks like he has a red cape on, so the tie in front is probably better. And can you add a little refinement to make it more obvious that the top is a suit top? Maybe a little glimpse of white shirt underneath the suit or something? I know its a small image so it might not be possible...
#89 is a bit darker than #90. I made the coat a bit more open so that some of the white shirt shows. This may not be so obvious at reduced sizes, so what I think helps is that I made the coat tail a bit longer and more flowing. I also added a button to the sleeve cuffs and a hint of collar. All very subtle, but I think it looks better and not so form fitting as before.
I changed up the arrow in #131. I kept it a bit informal (without totally straight lines) so that it would still maintain the style and feel of the illustration.
No problem, I'll rework the color. I see, that the Penguin is still in contention. I had almost withdrew him for another contest last week... good thing I didn't. You have first dibs, so he's staying in your contest for now. :)
Yeah I'm leaning toward the penguin. I think I can do a lot with that.
For #150 can you change the proportion of penguin and tree? i.e. make the tree bigger or the penguin/suitcase smaller? or some combination of that? Not necessarily much bigger/smaller but maybe a few different proportions to look at?
Ok I think we're almost there! For #165, can you try that with the globe over the i? Not sure how big it should be so I'd like to it small like in #161 and big like #91, and maybe 1 or two in between if possible. Thanks!
