ok, have a good night. I also want to mention that this latest revision was for a "steamer" - a type of ship that sailed on the lakes. I understand that you couldn't do the traditional sailing ship or lighthouse. This request for a steamer is something different. Thanks again for your time.

This idea did not come from a designer. And you are correct it was not mentioned in the original brief. Our client came up with the idea after this contest has started. I certainly don't want you to get in any trouble!

So this idea was your clients and you just passed it to a designer? Because nothing like that was mentioned in the brief. Sorry to be thorough but if this idea came from another designer that could lead me into trouble

This was actually a request from our client.
No designer has presented anything like this to this point.

May I ask if the ship and lighthouse was your ideas that you told another designer on a private message or these ideas were brought to light by another designer?

Based on your previous comments you may not be able to do this, but I t thought I'd ask, because we still like this design very much.
Is there any way you can pull the "bridge element" out and replace it with a "stylized steamer ship"?

I understand what you are saying but we have very very strict rules on other designers ideas - even if executed differently. I wish I could.

Based on your experience with logo tournament, I'm sure you know the rules very well. But neither, this ship or lighthouse have been submitted by anyone else to the point. There have been sailboats and other lighthouses but these are specific. If you still can't submit, I understand but I wanted to clarify. Thanks again for your submissions.

Unfortunately, the shop and lighthouse have been alread used by other designers and I am not allowed to use their ideas.
