One more thing that would be good to incorporate into the logo would perhaps be some kind of "microfluidic" channel or device and waveguides fiber optics.

Thanks again for all your logos. One other version I'd like to see is perhaps a simplified version that encorperates microfluidics (see below) and light (fiber optics). The microfluidic channel could perhaps be an underline under the "erickson lab" part. I like these but I'm worried that they don't say "microfluidics".

Microfluidics are essentially tiny channels that can carry fluids (like wires except carring water instead of electrons). Examples of microfluidic devices are shown below...

Waveguides are essentially optical fibers on a chip. Examples of optical fibers can be found by typing in "Optical Fibers" into google images.

Something like #30 is nice but it would be better if the "chip" could be somehow oriented the other way and if it could include waveguides/fiber optics in some way. I'm not sure if the microfluidics and optics could be incorperated into the letters somehow?
