Lets try stacking the type of "Eric Layne Real Estate" under the icon to wither fit the width underneath or the vertical height to the right

Really interesting. I like the E and the L relationship and the roof above also implies moving up or forward or advancing which are great implications. Also reads like an on or power button. Lets try this icon with different type/font to read Eric Layne Real Estate and see how those two interact

interesting but also reminds me of military stripes. may not reduce well either

might look better if the right angles were squared off. Looks too much like a sailing ship

I like it but wont reduce well. Also tough to pull out the E and the L from it
