Sample A. We know we want all caps. We don't want the "i" to look lowercase like it has an orange dot above it. You could see our website and create the "i" like the letter "t" in Spectrum. That would enable the two-tone letter but it would look uppercase. Can you do one sample with these changes?
Sample B. Could you do another sample with the changes mentioned above but place the rings horizontally in some way?
Thanks for the quick responses and these are cool. Everyone is not here today but a couple of us are looking an these and like them!
#110 Regarding the curved lines above the i. We want to see it expanded mid way around the word EPIC a little more, so it doesn't just hover over the letter i.
Can you make the right side of that curve in some way sweep between the space in the letter c? (the space between the top of the C and the bottom of the C)
Can you then take the left side of the curve and let it sweep into the middle line of the letter e? So the effect would be that the middle line of the letter E would be these two fine lines. It would be continuous. The top line of the E would stay the same and the bottom line of the E would stay the same, but the middle of the E would change into these two fine lines.
#108 Keep everything the same except place a thin orange line on the outside of the thicker gray curve (they are close but don't make them touch) and then place a thin orange line on the outside of the thicker gray curve (thin like what is seen in #111)
#120 is very close to what I am seeing and tried to explain!
The only thing missing is changes to the letter E...using the thin double lines in the middle bar of the E.
Here's another thought. Right now it looks like the two thin lines are above the word EPIC. What if you center those double lines so that it looks like they are going through the center of the word EPIC?
Ray, Is it possible to see the font with slightly italicized? Also, are there other uppercase fonts which have a bit less harsh angles? Lastly, what ideas do you have that could incorporate the icon over the last letter in our current logo so that there's not as dramatic of a change in the look? Thanks
Ive just uploaded a couple of italic versions #151 & #152 with #152 using slightly rounded corners for a less harsh feel. Ill work on some other alternatives though and will upload again later :)
