Thank you for your submission, here is some feedback...
1.) We are not very fond of a round icon, we are more partial to a square icon with rounded corners like the iPhone icons. These tend to look better at smaller sizes
2.) The E inside the logo isn't working for us, at a small size it would barely be visible.
3.) The word mark font is a little too thin, we would like something more bold lik the facebook word mark
Removed the e completely tried different variations trying to get a letter to be noticeable at a 16X16 size is pretty hard when there is more than a single color tone. best size i could get for the e to be noticeable was at 32X32. Any feed back would be appreciated.
We are having a hard time with your icon concept. Can you try something new for the icon?
We don't think it will be memorable enough - if you remove the word mark next to it then it can't hold it's own as a logo.
The word mark also looks a bit bland, we like the thicker look, but again it doesn't seem to hold it's own without the paired icon. Can you try a treatment of some kind to the word mark?
I'm sorry I can't be more help than that! We couldn't come up with more specific feedback.
made both the word mark and the icon stand alone, icon is composed of an e and a t made to look like a wave simple yet viewable at small sizes. wordmark used a memorable font modern none traditional stylized with a wave playing of the tide word. Please let me know if im on the right direction.
The icon looks a bit too abstract, like two swirls of paint. Not quite what we are looking for.
The font you chose on the second one is too techy, it needs to be a bit simpler like the "Facebook" font.
We like the wave in the word concept but I didn't notice it until I read your comment and looked at it again, it is too subtle to pick up on right away. However after saying that I am not sure a substantial difference in color on the word mark would look good.
