if you care to see any variations on any submissions I make (font, color, additions, subtractions, suggestions), please feel free to let me know. Feedback welcome. thanks. C

on # 18 - can you change the emerge font to black... and maybe work with the colors on the butterfly to still be bold and warm but maybe calming and a little more cohesive

we really like #55 and #56 - do you think you can play with the idea of instead of having the e on top with the butterfly incorporating that into the 1st e in emerge... also can we see some variations with the colors still bright but a little more subtle (blending into one another more) instead of the intensity of the blue and orange together... love the font though with the black writing for emerge

is 59 going in the right direction?

#60 actually has a bit of an overlay where the butterfly colors lay over the m just a little bit, emphasizing the emerge part.

on #59 and #60, can you show us a few more color variations - with less of a "painted look"?

Am a little confused on direction right now--actually not sure where i am supposed to be going on this right now. Is it just the colors you wanted less painterly, or the form as well? I know originally it was supposed to have a shape that could be a butterfly emerging from a more abstract shape, along with colors of the sunset. Should I be going for a softer palette, more monochromatic? Should the shapes go away from a watercolor look (the one i put up maintains some watercolor look). But, the watercolor look is actually what allows it to be more amorphous, sort of like seeing shapes in clouds. The more hard edged, butterfly looking ones which i had up at first you shied away from. Let me know if i traveled in the right direction for this last one or not. (I'm actually a fan of what you have #2 right now, but that is just me, and this definitely has to be something YOU feel or it isn't something you will feel comfortable putting out there--which, of course, is the purpose of a logo. So, more direction would be good for me right now. Thanks so much. I appreciate you rating me. Carla

we really like how you made the white around the e in #90 - it helps the font stand out better. i like the brighter colors better - maybe some more orange/yellow/warm colors etc with a hit of blue etc, but my partner likes the colors you have in #90 already - can you show us a few color variations that may be more of a happy medium. also we like how it looks less splattered and more blended... so keep that please, with the white around the e! thanks so much for all of your help and hard work!

Please note that number 109 is the same as 90, but I realized that 90 had some transparency in it which wouldn't work well for you in the final file. Plus I did a slight adjustment to the white light areas. I didn't want you choosing 90 and then having to do an adjustment that you wouldn't like to make it a more viable file.

thanks so much... i got some feedback from friends that maybe it would look better if the butterfly didn't cover the e so much but was a little off to the left... could i possibly see a variation on that?

also i like the colors on #108 the best... can you blend it more in the middle and then do the white transparency around the e like you did in #109? and instead of the periwinkle on the right wing maybe blend into some other color - maybe a little more orange-bold yellow brightness?

thanks so much... loving your work!

#116 currently has transparency where the white area in the actual wing section is currently (that means put on a colored background the whole of the current white area in the box would take on the color of the background. I wasn't sure whether you would want that or to put a solid white in the area that is actually part of the wing. On a white background it is going to show pretty much the same either way. However if you chose to put a blue background behind it on a web page this would let the blue currently replace everywhere there is white. If you would want white to show in just the wing area if put on a colored background I would have to change one setting. And, if you need a final file of both, I can also give you that. However, you can also just make sure you keep a copy of the .eps file and whatever designer you use for a certain project could change the setting (if they are a professional designer anyway) for what you would need for a particular project. Did that make sense? PS: if we want to have a more direct conversation about this you can either send me a private message through LogoTournament (which enables me to send a private message back once you have initiated the conversation) or you can email me at carla@cdinucci.com. Normally I would probably just give you one with the white retained in the wing, but you did mention in the requests that there be more of a transparent white area in this rendition. (hope i haven't confused you) C
