My entries. I created a wordmark of Element with the E mirrored and a part of the N forming 31. I checked the Rooftops website and noticed their logo is very clean without any graphics. So I decided to work on a typographical approach.
#7 - 4x 2 letters with a color of the elements. #8 - variation in a box #9 - black combination with red 31 as fire. (Can be applied to the different elements of the floorplans. i.e. water the 31 will be in blue | earth the 31 will be in brown/orange etc)
I like this concept a lot. I would like to see a black and blue and black and green version of the white background one. Not a fan of the rainbow version but will show to the client. Also, if you could include the address underneath the logo, that would great.
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah the rainbow version makes it harder to read. I think the two color setup emphasizes both the word element and number 31 best. I uploaded the following designs:
#25 #26 - black/blue and the black/green version #27 #28 - different placement of the 31 on the other "e" (not sure about 28, it may read 31 element) #21 #22 #23 #24 - incorporation of the address.
Let me know what design/color/address you like best.
"I know it’s late in the ballgame but I came across this hotel group – Affinia Hotels – and wanted you to see the font type they use. I think it has a really nice look and captures the look and feel that I’d to see for the apartments. I like how it’s straight lines with no little decorative little characteristics to interfere with the cleanliness. Does that make sense? I’d like to see the name with the “31” integrated into the word “Element”, like you had before, then to side, below it and even above.
Affinia has a hotel in NYC called ‘Affinia 50’, which I think sounds really strong. I’d like ours to feel and look that clean and strong."
Do you think you can look into Affina and give the client some revisions with his comments in mind?
