I very much like the reference to the egg and the chicken and the coop. The tagline is incorrect and I'd like the writing to be a more joyful color. Thank you for using the correct capitalizatiion.
Super hen laying an egg! And I love that you conveyed that she is inside the coop. Can you use a lighter color to show that she is inside, instead of brown? I am not fond of brown.
The green or brown section of the coop isn't working for me, but what if you change out that green for a little hay straw nest-- so yellowish and slightly nest shaped, and a smaller band so that the coop doesn't look so squat?
I like the size of the font, but wish that it were thinner lines. The font is a bit hard to read and heavier than I want it.
Is there a way to use the first chicken that is just the 'e' in #54 with an egg?
Or to take #90 and make the coop part just have red and white like #54? The point is that I like the simpleness of #54 and the egg idea in #90.
I like the font in #90 the best. I prefer the coop without the different colored line at the bottom and with the overhang on the roof and I'm still not wild about the taupe or brown color for the font.
Let me work harder on them to complement both entries #90 and #54 together the best way possible, all feedback is very important, i am glad you liked the font used on #90 so let´s focus now on the image, thank you Shelley.
Thanks for continuing to think about this. I'm most drawn to your #119. Since you have gotten away from using the hen as an 'e', perhaps you could make her look more like a hen and less like a graphic design (not sure how to actually say what I mean here; sorry).
I like that you made the tagline your "floor" instead of a solid bar of color and the font is easier to read. I also like your original roof, like in #54.
And I know that we've got this deep red theme going right now, but perhaps you could try something different?
I like the hen's eye better in #90 and #115 with the egg as a door is quite clever!
I can make a few variations between entries, i know is hard but maybe you can let me know why exactly you like about #172 and #163 and apply it to #171, thank you.
You have really good ideas. You execute well. And I would have preferred that you work to improve your innovative ideas rather than follow the individual suggestions I made with the other designers. My fault; I should have asked that before now.
I have felt badly all night about not asking you earlier in the contest to give me a third style to choose from. I led you down that path with my revision requests. Again, my fault; I apologize.
