Hello. This is my first design for your consideration with book incorporated into letter E.

Kindly regards

#1 Overall feeling is good, but not perfect yet ;). I'm not quite sure of the symbol - the icon/logo looks gives me associations to a snake eating a power-outet (sorry).

If using letters, like the "E", perhaps would it be possible to do something using the "M" as they have similar shapes? I prefer a nice abstract symbol before clearly readable letters, so be creative. And it is absolutely okay to skip the letters in the symbol all together.

I like the roundness / sweeping lines of the intense green "snake" much more than the "striped E". Not particularly fond of mixing the two styles as in this example. I like the clean stile of the text logo, but perhaps it needs a bit more contrast to it so that it "stand out" a bit more. Nice that you re-used the green background color as suggested on the web page - makes it easier to see how it actually would look in context, on the page! Keep up the good work!

The book incorporated with the E is smart, but I didn't understand it just by looking at the logo. And the company is super-digital so I think that a book would give the right association.

#8 Great update! I liked the the "sleekness" and bright color of #1 icon, and the font looked more modern, more soft. #8 is harder, sharper. Not so sure about the "drop shadow" effect of the text logo though. It adds contrast - great - but looks more 1990. The 3D style logo is really cool and skilled design - but my first association was jewelry - gold holding a green stone. Not super-fond of the sharp edges. Considered using the E and the M? Similar shapes, could perhaps be used in the shape instead of the gold bard (now shaping kind of a "U" and "n" shape) or is it to common?

Love the 3D- feel about it though, but loved the "green worm" style - fluidness - sleekness from the first #1.
In some way, a bit more "web 2.0"?

Good work!

#1 How would an @-sign using an "e" look using the look and feel of the green circle? The e could be white and then in the circle turn to green, perhaps. Or if the "e" would be thicker with a 3D-feling and the circle more 2.5D like now. This has probably been done before, so it depends on how to make the look a bit unique.

#19 Thanks! Yes, it is a bit like the first logo, but it lacks the 3D-feeling and the nice colors. The font in #1 was better, but this one has a nice shade adding contrast. I like that. But the e-symbol... We are not there yet. And the green shape #1, with its fluid nice cirkle and different width and gradient was wonderful. Something that would be possible to introduce to #19?
