the background is more of a banner/ribbon shape - thought it might make it a little more dynamic?

thanks!

I'm worried the design and layout of the current designs would be a bit pricey to print because of the layers and colors. Could you run with the same ideas but simplify to help with printing? I love the concepts but I think it has a poster or stamp feel more than a logo. Just my thoughts of a non creative artsy guy! Hope this helps!

It does! I'm actually working on a two color variation right now and will have some options up in a little while :)

Here's a more "logo-ish" version of the previous entry #30 / #31 are both 2 colors only. #32 is 3 colors.

I tried to keep the logo professional by maintaining tight dimensions & ratios, but keep away the "corporate" feel by using more organic lines and textures. The two lifted/floating pages are intended to mimic the wings of the dove - sort of a "word = Spirit" parallel. Any changes or ideas you have, please let me me know!
Thanks

are the lines TOO organic/rough?

Here's a re-worked version with a clean-line dove/Bible :)

Here is a cleaner variation. Basically the same concept. The dove has been off-set 1) to make the image more dynamic but more importantly 2) to show that the dove/Spirit is leading the spread of illumination across the globe...sort of directing the sunlight (the rays) as they spread. The idea of spreading the light applies to the mission in that it starts locally and grows globally - as well as the typical "send the light" parallel with mission work.

I have a version with and without the book per suggestion - although, with the dove off-centered, I think WITHOUT the book is the way to go.

I also have a distressed-light version that could also apply to "without the book"

thanks

Thanks for the updated versions.

We would like to see #87 & 92 with a few changes to compare.

1. Make the book a bit more defined and noticeable. Flatten out the bottom of the book.
2. Lose the horizon line.
3. Show some different varietitions of the dove. Maybe something less prounouced or more abstract. Not sure if that is the right description but our board would like to see other dove options.
4. If you are able to make changes to the book, we would like to see the sun ray spikes removed.

Thanks
