Fracco.....we made a final decision today and you are the runner up, I'm sorry to say. It was really 1 and 1a. You did a great job.
So much so, I want to invite you to participate in another logo contest I just started yesterday for "Team CarpenTepper". More of a personal brand for my family, not a business. I hope you'll participate. Thank you again.
Hi Fracco. Thank you for all of your hard work last week on our logo. My partner and I have narrowed our choices down to you and one other. The unique strengths of your design is the moon/apostrophe, the color scheme, and the subtle palm tree in the "A". If we select you as the winner, we would request various forms of the same logo- for exampe, 1 on a white background, 1 on a black background, and one clear background. We would also request the logo in different colors so we can use it thematically around different seasons. For example, green and gold for St Patrick's Day, Red and Green for Christmas, Black and Orange for Halloween, Red, White and Blue for 4th of July, etc. Are you agreeable to those terms? Thank you.
Hello Daniel. Im happy you like it, about the 8 ball on i, another designer proposr that idea on this contest, we are not supposed to use another designer idea... Thr only way is the CH to ask for it before a designer propose it, is the 8 ball on i dot your idea? Ib case not I think I can look the way to incorporate it on the design in other way... Instead of letter o maybe.
Hi Fracco. Congrats on being a finalist. Here are some changes my biz partner and I are requesting:
1- The liquor glass needs further detail, maybe etchings in the glass?
2- Can you make the dot on the "i" in Eddie an 8 ball (from a pool table)?
3- Can we see the logo on a white background?
4- Any ideas of incorporating a musical reference, as our most popular nights are when we do Karaoke or have live local music.
Thank you.
This is much improved. Can you please invert the moon so it reads like a true apostrophe and reduce the scale of the drinks so they are inside the circle? Thank you.
So this is improved, but here is the challenge still:
In Miami, some bars sell beer/wine only, but others like us sell liquor drinks , too. So, is there a way to incorporate a shot glass or a liquor bottle with the beer mug?
Also, as a late night place (most of our customers on weekends show up after midnight), is there a way to demonstrate that element graphically, please?
First, thanks for submitting.
Second, I think this is cool, but the character doesn't identify with our brand identity as a dark neighborhood bar that is a decent bit away from the water.
I do however like the colors and the font. Can you find another way besides the shark character to let people know we are a bar, since its not obvious by our name? Thank you
