Thank you for your efforts towards the Eddie's Place new logo. Unfortunately, we have narrowed our choices down to two other designers. Please look for us to publish a new contest next week that we hope you'll participate in. Best of luck in the future.
#94 Congrats on being a finalist. Here is some feedback from my partner and some associates"
1- We should switch the position of the music note, and the beer mug, then change the beer mug to a liquor glass (to emphasize mixed drinks over beer)
2- Maybe lose the musical note altogether and somehow make the dd in Eddie's into that note by connecting the top. Then move the 8 ball to the top of the dotted "i" (making it the dot)
Nice work on 52, 53, and 55. I like elements of each so maybe you can combine some.
1- #55, i like the outline "arrow", the font(s), and the way you used Est instead of Since.
2- You'll see in my comment for #52 that I like the 8 ball incorporation because it speaks both to our pool table and to our address, on famous 8th street, in Miami. Can you perhaps incorporate the 8 ball into #55 somehow? Thank you.
#52 covers the most important elements we asked about. The shape and visual appeal feels a little dated, like the 1950s though. Love that you incorporated the 8 ball. Not only does it highlight that we have a pool table on premises, but its a subtle nod to our address on 8th street in Miami (8th street is famous in MIami)
I like the creative use of the olive here, just wondering if its too subtle?
Also, like #52, I think $53 feels a little too 1950s to me. Suggestions to update that feel?
Thank you for submitting. Loke the first draft....the design and font, but i think the black is too dark.
Also, we are asking all the designers ro incorporate a creative way ro visually know its a bar. Please revise and submit. Thanks.
