Discussion

#1: Like the idea. Wondering if the "swoosh" can come down a bit so as to not obscure the letters?
#2: Same. Like idea. What about trying a different "weight" for the letter "e" vs. the word "coverage"?
#3: Don't like the black background; like the logo though. We're not envisioning black in our color palette. Like the "ec" concept though.
#4: This has potential. Similar to Nike Swoosh and UnderArmour oval. The logo itself is OK. Could it stand by itself -- without an oval behind it -- without a background or shape?
Appreciate your use of our chosen color palette. Thank you for participating.

#1: Still like this one. Like the fact that the E is capitalized, and the contrast between the letters and the swoosh. Like the idea of #20, just maybe not such a literal oval? Would like to see some more colors -- even if that means straying from our chosen color palette.

#2: Our client has these comments to add to the discussion:
This one is OK. I’m challenged by the way the swoosh blocks the logo. It’s a design element that muddies the overall look. Ecoverage is hard to read, and so is ecoverage. I think this is partially because my eye keeps getting tricked into seeing “Eco”, which makes me think of a green site. Having the logo in green adds to the confusion, but I really dislike the drab brown/red color.

Thought: let's expand the color palette + lower the swoosh, but keep the capital "C"

Our client adds these comments:
This one is modern and simple, and has a good use of the EC. My complaint is the faintness of the colors. I also might want to see a version showing a little more of the e and the c, and possibly a version of this that moves the EC closer to the word, without looking too crowded.

#38: We like this latest version. Just need bolder colors.

#38: We like this one best so far. The font is good, the swoosh is now in a good position. Would prefer bolder colors, even if that means departing from our palette a little. We dot like the way the dark red we chose shows up in these logos online, so please don't use that red. Would like to see some contrast between the logo word and the swoosh, as you had in design #1 earlier. Nice work.

#13: We like the font, and the "ec" is far enough away from the word so as to not be confusing or distracting. Would prefer to see bolder colors, especially in the word. If there's way to keep the "ec" intact while calling more attention to the word eCoverage (stronger colors or larger font than "ec" mark) that would be ideal. As is this one looks a little "washed out". We like it a lot though as a concept.

#20: We'd like to get away from using this dark red, as we've decided it looks brown when seen on screen. Is there a way to use the oval concept, but make it more in the background, more subtle? It's too literal right now.

#42: Definitely has potential, but looks washed out and doesn't have contrast. Would like to see more colors, stronger colors used. Stronger blues, green and black, perhaps?

#36: Like the font, like the swoosh (although it could be lowered) but we don't want to use plain, fire engine red in the logo.
