I really like both designs. I find the way you have integrated a personal (people) element into a logo for a technical product very clever. I like the visual appeal/impact of the symbol

Please do not be to concerned with the ranking at this stage.
We very much appreciate the thought you have put into your logo.
One thing we would like to see if you thought it would work is could the logo be in a circle shape rather than a square/diamond just to see what that would look like.
This will be the last change we ask of you.
