Here are some of my proposals. Instead of creating a separate icon / typography combination, I've created an all encompassing logo / unit. One that can be used for additional elements just as branding stamps, watermarks, shirt badges/embroidery etc.
I've also played off the idea from the company name, "eclipse" and incorporated an actual eclipse into the logos - one on the "C" and the other on the "O".
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
We like both of your entries but would like to see some modifications. Can we have a sample of #10 in the format of #9? We find the font on #10 too small and really like the idea of the annual conference text.
Thanks for the feedback and comments ... Would be my pleasure to work up some variations.
Sorry still a bit confused. Just to clarify, so I get it right ... We are going to have: 1 - "encounter 2014" on one line 2 - full eclipse and colours from #9 3 - have the annual conference text on the right (not underneath) in three lines
My fault, I am working with quite a few people. We have some who like the colours and format on #8 but want the full eclipse instead of the partial. We have some who like #9 as is but want the text on the line below to be larger. Possibly on two lines if necessary. Thank you for understanding, my apologies. Mary
Completely understand :) And thanks for the clarification ... I'm based in the UK and about to get an early night (just come back from my Honeymoon and the jet lag is still strong), but I will work on those options first thing in the morning for you!
1) Can we get both 40 & 43? 2) Please remove "The" so that there are two lines as follows:
Eclipse Users Group Annual Conference
3) We will need an editable file to change the year for subsequent conferences. Will you be providing an Adobe Illustrator file? 4) We will need any logo to work on marketing materials both with a dark and light background. Can you make version(s) that will work on a light background?
And here are those new versions for you; #47, #48, #49, #50
And then another version of #40 ... But this time, taking out the word "the" but still keeping it on three lines so that it has the same height as "encounter 2014".
