Discussion

Thanks for your entries! Like the flow of #20 and the 3-tier name w/tagline under all. The pictoral is too much tree, not enough mountain and too conceptual. The colors are too lime green oriented. Prefer a bit darker less pastel.

Look forward to some more options. Thanks!

Thanks for your comments,
Both composition and colour use provide balance, harmony, stability and a fresh springtime feeling,
calm does not necessarily mean cold,
What I dont understand is....why the functionality of the design is pointed out as something negative. If a logo is not conceptual - how does it serve its purpose
a logo is not just a good looking image or icon
this particular composition of elements is a Calm Organized Flow - actually -> your message
and what your clients should be looking for.......
Hope that makes sense
I agree with ''not enough'' mountain
Please try to explain ''too conceptual'' it really confused me

You make a good point and I need to think about it. I tend to be pretty literal and so that influences my assessment. East Beckwith mountain itself is also an important marker in my life and again, I have a tendency to be pretty literal, so have a hard time sometimes getting past that. The company name is important mostly only to me and this logo development is the start of stronger branding that gets beyond that.
You're right ---- my clients are looking for order and calm.
Thanks for making me think this through some more. I'll sleep on it and work to give you more specific feedback tomorrow (but I will say ---- #5 is growing on me).

#46 is really interesting. It's clean and clear and calm and bright. It speaks well I think to the individual clients I work with. I also deal with company owners (providing CFO support to them) and it feels a little 'light' or not 'corporate' enough for that audience. Am wondering how the gap between the two can be bridged. Maye with a different font that's a bit heavier? A little heavier and ? Darker font color?

Thanks for your entries and your comments.

Hi,
thanks for your latest comments,
Here is a version with a bolder font treatment,it has the same colour but it feels darker because the lines are thicker. I will aslo show you a couple of different font versions before the end of the contest.

I like #55 very much. Can you try the name in a deep purple instead of the grey? or a dark blue?
Thank you.

#88 the name feels crunched and too bright, but I like the tagline color change. Is there a not bolded version of the name font?
thanks.

I noticed that you are pretty interested in ''mountain only'' designs so here is another version..
order+calm is what I am aiming at again
