Could you try this with the "dtm" in black lowercase lettering?

I really like the look, to me the dots look like audio meters which I really like. My big concern at this point is that it might look too much like the adidas logo, I knew it seemed familiar and I'm afraid it might be too similar. Do you have any ideas on ways to keep the same concept but make it less similar to their logo?

I have some ideas, but I can't submit them from 3d place. Only the #1 ranked designer can submit entries during judging mode. You can move any design(er) on the 1st place temporarily.
