Downtube Brewing CoLogo Design Contest

Husk - this is great. Really love the electric 'Downtube' font, that's exactly what we were looking for, and the 'Brewing Co' in bold is great too. Love the slogan as part of it.

Would like to see some variations. We like the orange, blue, red theme, but maybe with a little more muted colors for everything besides the 'Downtube' font. That'll pop out.

How about instead of a man in the center, a silllouette of a bar tap? or just some other ideas.

I wanted to present one on a white background to make sure that the orange background wasn't interfering with the design.

Got it. I do like the orange color present in the logo though. Would it be possible to see if you could incorporate the 'electric' Downtube logo and font into a sideways version of the lightbulb tube and see how that looks?

Also - really do like the orange and blue, perhaps a bit more muted, and maybe some red/brown in there similar to the Breckenridge logo we added.

And last - looking for some hops to be included in the design a bit. Saw some hop artwork and liked it.

Amazing work. Really like the sideways version of the logo. Would it be possible to see a version with a royal blue background or a color that will make the orange lettering really "pop" out when seen? Possibly a hop where the lightning bolt would be perfect also. Great work!

Like how you put the reflectors inside the bulb. Also like the slightly darker color inside the bulb, which helps bring out the orange lettering more. Debating on which design we like better, great work though! We'll get back to you if we think of anything different. Thanks!

thanks! I'm getting some feedback from friends that the font isn't that clear and it takes a second to actually read it. I didn't think so and I thought the font was the strong point to it, but any chance there's a clearer font that would look just as nice in there?

small detail, but #57 has the screw thread on the build going the other way, which is more natural in terms of lighting I think

some great work here husk. we were discussing the concept and was curious if you could utilize what you've created already and make somewhat of a 'logo' design out of it that could be recognized without the actual wording on the design.

think the Mercedes sign, or Starbucks.. we're curious to see what you could bring to the table as far as brand recognition.
