Hi! Here is my initial entry for your consideration. I focused on stylized birds, working hearts into the negative space to symbolize lovebirds instead of making a realistic drawing of the birds. The color scheme can easily be changed up if you like my design. I would love to hear your feedback. Thanks!
I love the idea with the heart in the center. Can you ahow another option for the backround? Also, I do not want to use the words lovebirds in the logo. Can you try adding our monogram to teh negitive space. I would like a non traditional monogram. The blue of the birds needs to be a llittle deeper. I can send you a sample of what I mean by this. If you send me your information. Thank you, Dottie
Hi Dottie, thanks for the feedback. When you ask for another option for the background, do you mean the colors or the shape? And when you say your monogram, are you interested in just a P, or do you want DRP or DP + RP? I'd love to see the sample - lindsey@lindseyborschel.com.
Thannk you for your note I would be happy to clarify. For the backround I am looking for another shape. The monogram is dPr I will send you samples in the morning, Dottie
Hi Dottie. I actually never got an email from you, but one of the other designers shared your photos with me. Here's another pass at your logo. I'll keep working at it if I am inspired, but your feedback is definitely helpful in that regard! Thanks!
Hi Dottie, here are a couple more options for you. I've been drawing inspiration to help flesh out my lovebirds concept by looking at a book of old Vogue covers that I have. What amazing artwork is to be found there! My logo style is usually quite simple, and I'm doing my best to keep this simple while still designing to what I infer are your needs. I think the lovebirds image I designed is quite iconic and will really make a statement if you decide to go in this direction. Every time I try to dress it up too much with heavy detail, it loses its strength, so I plan to submit some even simpler entries if you're interested. In the mean time, here's an art deco stained glass sort of treatment. The lettering I've devised in all my recent entries is custom. The one with the DPR inside the heart is a modified font, and the other two new ones use a DPR made entirely from shapes. Thanks for your consideration!
Can you combine the concept of #67 & #63 leaving the monogram in the upside down heart, change the colors of the sunrays to the deep blue green Also, can you leave the bar at the bottom but make it look more like the shore of the beach. Thank you
For the monogram can you show me what it would look like if the "cases" were consistant. In other words all lower or upper or the d & r in the same case.
Hi Dottie - Here's another version with a slightly different approach, but somewhat similar to your recent favorite of mine. I also created a new monogram with a continuous shape, which has meaning in the context of marriage. The whole idea behind this is that the lovebirds are a single shape with a heart between them, but they are made up of many facets, much like two people in a marriage (and also like a diamond). Thanks!
Thank you for your recent submission. I would still like to see...

I have decided to extend the contest. Please show me the following changes. Is your design inspired by the Obama posters? Is that where you were going with #67?
