So far so good. Don't use the word love birds or our full names. Maybe a monogram rPd. Try using a more "art deco font to really bring that point across. I think you are really close with the color but I think it should look shinnier and greener. I also am not crazy about the peacock thing in the back. or ..the heart. Show me more bird options.
Hi Dottie The white line is a part of the font, but as you see it can be altered? What different type of lovebird do you wish to see? different colors? different style? I will be happy to oblige. Thanks for the input. dotwoman
I think a different type of love bird maybe something with more detail and different colors. I like the backround in entry #9 can show me that in some other colors. I want something that is really original and pops and is going to look really nice on all my stationary.
Can you show me another nontraditional monogram (different concept)
Can you show me #12 with completely different birds and replace red with a different color. Also can you try to use Gold in the logo maybe the branch and in the marquee somewhere?
Hi Dottie, Thank you for your input. I have a feeling that you must have a lot of lovebird photos and may have something specific in mind. If you will PM me I will give you my email address and you can email your favorites to me to use as a guide for illustration and that might be better than me drawing lots of random lovebirds hoping to land on one that you like. I think the initials would look great in hot foil stamp gold and if you let me know you favorite colors, I can give them to you. I really want to give you exactly what you want. dotwoman
Yeah! I am so happy you are into this project. Can you show me #20 with a different font for the "p,d & r" Something with strighter lines. I got what you said about the foil stamp I am going to talk to my printer about that. I will let you know what they say.
I am liking the font in #21 can we try some brighter colors. And where do you picture the foil going? Can you give the love bird feet and a branch to sit on? Also can you make on of the birds look more masculine? Dottie
referencing entry #26 I like this look can you show me more options like this? I would like to see a blue bird instead of the orange. I like that you used the sea shells in the backround to tie in the beach very nice. Can you show me another option for the backround that would tie in the beach as well? -Dottie
Sorry, I took a whike to get back to you. I have been really busy with work.
I think number #35 is really cute can you show it to me in brighter colors. Also, can you design the inside of the birds with sraighter lines. Also, I am not crazy about anything under the birds. What if you put the D and the R inside the birds and the P in the middle maybe you can incorporate a palm tree in to the design of the P. I also like the idea of the marquee in the backround.
Also I emailed you an idea with birds sitting on a branch as a forgroung sillouette and doins an art deco sky in the backround. Did you get that one do you have an feedback on that?
#38 I really like this one but, my fiance pointed out that it looks like a part of the male anatomy. That's all I see now when I look at it. Can you show me another design? I like the idea and the birds though. Thank you. Dottie
I would liek to see a skyline alone without the maquie. I like how one of the designers made the birds themselves with an artdeco design. This is what I woud like to see with the sunset or sunrise
#64,65&66 When I say a sunset or rise in an art deco theme. Look at rank number 2 can you do something like this. So, in other words not an artdeco sun but an artdeco sunrise or set. I think I am going to like the colors of a sunset more then a rise. thank you Dottie
Sorry I had somethings come up and have been out of touch. I have decided to extend the contest for another 5 days. I would like to work on entry #95. I would like to take the sun and the rays. I do not want the bird to be seperated. I also do not want the rays outlined in black. Can you show me these changes?
Hi Dottie, I really love the interplay of the love bird's beaks against the background of the bottom of the P. It is charming. Now, let's get the colors perfect? Did you talk to your mom about the gold hot-foil? I am anxious to hear her opinion.
