Yes you are definitely in the running. I am suggesting a moon, or a clock to show the late hour, I also considered an owl (wise night creature) but have no idea how it could be worked in.
Thank you for your feedback. I will work on those changes and submit a new design as soon as it's worthy. I see another designer has used the moon in his design, so other designers are not allowed to use that concept, unless you suggested it first. : )
Here are my thoughts, with the understanding not everything I think translates well into the logo. I would like the face a bit thinner, right now to round in the cheeks. Perhaps extend the beard to the cap line, with the ears poking out behind the beard. Candle could be shorter, like its late at night and candle has burned down lower. I would like to see some messy papers on the desk (the elf is working late at night to finish the work left behind), maybe delete the ink well and put pile of papers on that side. I would like something in the background to reinforce the nighttime feel, maybe the moon.
Thank you for all the hard work.
I like the pose and action it shows. I really like the elf from #11. Some white hair and beard will make him look wiser. I appreciate the work you are doing.
I thought I had responded, but looks like I messed up and it did not post. I like where you are going. I really like the type and positioning of the It's almost magic tag line. I like the Elf but would like a more serious look on his face. I'm thinking professor hard at work reviewing papers. If possibe some background elements showing Elf is hard at work during middle of the night. I like your like your Free Theatre and Broomstick Botanicals logos.
# 11 Hi! Here is my first draft for your logo project. If this concept interests you, lmk and I will further refine. Thanks in advance for your consideration and feedback!
