We saw that! that's why we like it so much. if we can pull the "D" in just a little bit I think it will make it better

Very cool! Ok in regards to the solid yellow background. Can you make it about 20% smaller? So that there isn’t quite so much surface area?

Also, if there is an additional "glitch" or effect you could add to the purely flat design, that would be good. When this logo is printed on clothing, we won't be able to add the gradients or "shine" so something else added to the flat logo, could help make it more exciting.
