I've took a close look to your brief and website colours and thought about this bold, fresh and modernlayout, featuring the display image itself. I've used the site colours with a metallic gradient as you like and the display letters are metallic to reeinforce the strong material idea. The red background really grabs the attention. Claudia - I think this is just a little too overpowering for us. The Red is too much, and the font doesn't really match the company image. If you can incorporate the "Overstock" Effect from #1 somehow into this, while keeping the Display, that would be great to see.
Perhaps leaving the box, getting rid of the red, changing the font on "Display," then adding the Overstock effect from #1 to go all the way across the entire box from left to right, bigger than the box so it exits on both sides like a stamp or shipping label.

I'm posting 2 more entries, very simple and that don't adress your name to a specific product but the display idea itself and incorporating the "stamp" idea as you've requested, One is your 2 simple plain colours and the other featuring the mattalic look with your colous too. #11 and #12 are definitely on the right track! Let's stretch the Overstock Box slightly longer, maybe another 10 pixels on each side. Let's also add a more striking color to the OVERSTOCK - Maybe make the Box RED, and Leave Overstock White to make it pop!
You're almost there - I have a good feeling about this - Let's just explore different color options to make it standout!
We love #13, the OVERSTOCK is PERFECT - but the Display text and the box are very dull and boring. Let's leave the Overstock effect with the red box, and work on the "Display" text and the box to see if we can bring some life to it! Some separation would be good so that the full word is visible. Some outlines, drop shadows, anything to bring the DISPLAY out! Thanks! Great job!
