Hi! Yes, if you add shines it could be a car symbol or think aboit a film company trailer intro :-) IMHO I like simple logos without too much bells and whistles. If you like at first glance it works. They supports time better. When designing this symbol d+e I was thinking to add a serif and make it more "kitsch" but finally I decided to go more "Apple" style because thta style last longer and it's pretty easy to make variants as you wish, I mean adding by example on summer an ornage colour and so on. I'll upload a "rounder" version. Thanks for your feedback!
