Please make the background completely white so that it looks good in print (on envelopes and letter heads). Thanks!

White background as requested.
I always provide vectorial, jpg and transparent png of the logo (full color, b&w, reverse b&w and gray scale). Gradient background is just for presentation, the final files don't have it.
