On behalf of the client, I'm looking for a great fit who can handle to the responsibilities of the job. Candidate has all the required skills, some or all of the preferred skills and may bring other skills to the table as well. The client wants someone who is a team fit, affordable, thirst for knowledge, stable and dependable.
On behalf of the candidate with the attributes above, I must understand his motivations for career growth, responsibility, money, knowledge, learning opportunities, exposure to latest technologies, etc. and then be able to show him that I have a position for him or that I understand the motivations and will find that job that is the great fit to the motivations.
