Thank you for your help! You do beautiful work!! 7 years ago janisart commented on #54 Withdrawn I understand. The other designer has done a nice job! I will bow out for now. 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #54 Withdrawn I like the other designs that I ranked better. The stem would be better curved si it looks softer and not do straight and starting directly from the top flower. Also I like the leaves but not vase. 7 years ago janisart commented on #54 Withdrawn I'll continue to work on this. 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #34 I've narrowed it down to two finalists and you are one of the two! I look forward to seeing the revisions! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #35 Withdrawn I love love this orchid also! But I don't like the green stem with in the orchid and again would like to see it somehow more grounded 7 years ago janisart commented on #34 Thank you for your comments. I will continue to work on this, I'm not giving up yet! : ) 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #34 I love this design! And so does my friends and family! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #34 I really like this but how can we ground the orchid?? It appears like it's floating. 7 years ago janisart commented on #31 Withdrawn got it! working on revisions now. 7 years ago janisart commented on #25 Withdrawn Yes, will do now. 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #25 Withdrawn Can you add the gold to the blooms in this logo and remove the two side out shoots? 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #31 Withdrawn The additional gold looks great! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #31 Withdrawn These stem would come straight down to the vase from the top bloom… You don't really see the stem along the blooms 7 years ago janisart commented on #31 Withdrawn I added a little gold to the center of some of the orchid blossoms and moved stem to left of blooms. 7 years ago janisart commented on #30 Withdrawn I am working on another design with all of your comments in mind, thanks for the feedback! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #25 Withdrawn After studying this… I'm not sure the flower stem is coming out on either side of the cascading Orchid works for me. It works good visually, but the orchids don't really have that look. 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #24 Withdrawn So for instance with this design the stem would start at the top bloom and come down to the left of the blossoms 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #30 Withdrawn Now I know what's bothering me with this… Usually the stem starts from the top bloom to the vase and the cascading part hangs free-flowing and is not connected to the vase, make sense? 7 years ago janisart commented on #30 Withdrawn Thank you! I'll continue to work on improving while keeping it simple. 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #28 Withdrawn I like the clear glass vase better 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #30 Withdrawn I like it but I feel like it is too busy. I like orchid number 24 and 25 the best with the forward facing blooms with the yellow centers. They are more simple and dramatic looking. 7 years ago janisart commented on #30 Withdrawn I think this is the most balanced so far. I will wait to hear back from you on ways I can improve. 7 years ago janisart commented on #28 Withdrawn I am still working on this, replacing some of the blossoms with ones that are drawn more accurately. I would also like to keep it as simple as possible, logos generally work better that way. I'll keep working on it! 7 years ago janisart commented on #25 Withdrawn Studying the details of an orchid and practicing drawing them. They really are quite amazing. I'm hoping to merge your idea of the waterfall orchids into a simple design. You don't want the logo to be overly complicated. 7 years ago janisart commented on #24 Withdrawn I am working on updated designs, first on my sketchbook, then I will move to my software. I know I can improve the over all look and feel . I was away a good part of today, but will be here all day tomorrow doing design work. 7 years ago janisart commented on #25 Withdrawn Yes, I will try that as well. 7 years ago janisart commented on #24 Withdrawn I will try and see what that looks like. I know I can improve the overall design. 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #24 Withdrawn I'm curious to see this logo design adding a stem and the illusion of a bubble bowl vase. 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #25 Withdrawn Is it possible to add the gold to the mouth or center of the orchid? Orchids have a bit of color in the center. Usually pink or yellow, so in this case the gold would look nice. 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #25 Withdrawn They keep getting better and better! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #25 Withdrawn Thank you so much! 7 years ago janisart commented on #25 Withdrawn Updated version. I will continue to work on improving my design. Your inspiration pieces are beautiful! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #24 Withdrawn Perfect! I look forward to seeing it 7 years ago janisart commented on #24 Withdrawn Thank you! I am drawing the design now and will upload a new design when it is ready! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #23 Withdrawn I like the gold the best! Thank you for showing me another option though. 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #24 Withdrawn I really like this gold color! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #24 Withdrawn Awesome! The forward facing blossoms that go from larger to smaller side by side on the stem is what makes the cascading Orchid so beautiful and unique, thank you!!! 7 years ago janisart commented on #24 Withdrawn I will work on making more of the orchid blossoms face forward. Thank you for your feedback! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #21 Withdrawn Also, is it possible to place more of the forward facing orchids down the front of the stem?? 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #21 Withdrawn Oooooo this is very nice! Can I see desert orchid in a coral color and also in a gold color? I like the turquoise but I feel like a brighter color with stand out more against the black. 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #16 Withdrawn I'm not a fan of the complete circle… But it would be cool if it was half an oval that represented a stem and the other half was all blooms! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #15 Withdrawn Getting there! I like the font! Look at the Orchids that in in the logos ranked 2 and 3...there are 3 in a row coming down in a curve...is it possible to do that but with 12 to 15 white blooms?? 7 years ago janisart commented on #12 Withdrawn I will figure out a way! Thanks for your feedback! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #11 Withdrawn And it is Desert Orchid Design. D O D could be an option with the orchid as an O 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #12 Withdrawn I love the look and the colors used in this logo, but how can we incorporate the cascading/waterfall orchiD 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #12 Withdrawn The last 4 you sent me are all very nice! The cascading Orchid is what sets me apart from my competition, that's is what I am realizing that needs to be reflected in my logo. My orchids are not ordinary so I want my clientele to see that I have this different, dramatic looking product available. That's what I am trying to get across instead of using one of the images I have included in the contest description. Have you view the images? These orchids all have 17+ blooms That waterfall facing the same direction. They are stunning! 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #8 Withdrawn Thank you! 7 years ago janisart commented on #8 Withdrawn Thank you! I will continue exploring ways to show your desert orchid in a beautiful way, and also try those colors. 7 years ago CherylPitout commented on #8 Withdrawn Very cool! I personally love these colors! I would like to see in where I would consider desert colors… Maybe yellow and orange with dark brown writing… Just to compare. 7 years ago
