Instead of the island I was thinking of using the emerald bay side of lake tahoe on the bottom portion of the logo and not having it a straight line on teh bottom. Use the lake outline of emerald bay rounded.

I like the additions. Maybe some variations of these. Can you try the jeep climbing the mountain base and using a gold panner in place of the gold pan (http://www.eldorado2016.com, http://www.malakoff.com/goldnugg.gif). Maybe move sun from middle to one side. How can I send you some files for further ideas?

We do not want to use the badge. We are trying to get away from spelling out law enforcement but use the term DSA because that is known in law enforcement.
