Great work !

I would love to see a version with the following modifications :

- Mirror-flip the leaf around
- Orange instead of the blue and make the the "dot" a bit larger - kind of like to resemble the sun and a radiant glow from it.
- I really like the font from #31 for the wording if you have something similar.

Thanks for your time !

Hello,

Thank you very much for the feedback.
This entry has the modifications with two small variances. When I flipped the leaf, it looked similar to someone else's in the contest (even though the stem is different) so I changed the angle a bit.
I'm trying to find the the style of font you mentioned, the one I used in this one is the closest I have so but I'm still looking.
I added a hint of yellow to the center glow of the orange area to give a more rich and radiant look. It still looks orange overall, but it has a richer, warmer look.

Thank you again for your feedback and the compliment. It's always nice to hear :-)

Hi Tim,

Looking better and better ! Let's try these changes, if you don't mind ...

- Center the leaf in the "Q"
- Eliminate the sun, and keep it all just a uniform orange
- Have the perimeter circle of the Q all in orange as well (eliminate the silver)

So basically I'm thinking a solid orange Q with the leaf centered in the middle of it (as the hollow part) and the middle vein of the leaf continuous with the "tail" of the Q, suggesting a path (quest)

I'm not sure if I'm explaining it all that well, but I hope you get the picture...

Thanks so much for your time and hard work ! Much appreciated

Hello,

I believe I understand. Is this what you had in mind? Please let me know if it isn't, as it's no trouble at all reworking it and getting exactly what you were considering.

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,

Here it is dressed up a bit with some depth to the "Q" and some reflections on it, and some shades of green in the leaf.

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,

This one has a bigger leaf in it so it gives more of the look of making up the negative space in the "Q".
I know these are simple variations, so please don't hesitate to remove any/all to clean things up.

Thank you,
Tim

I really like the idea of the bite so I wanted to show you one with that as well.

Last one for now, a different look with the leaf from the previous one.
I know I submitted a number of small variations, but I just wanted to give you some different options and be proactive as I'll be away for a few hours and back this afternoon.

Thank you,
Tim

Hi Tim !

You're one talented designer, my friend !

I like different elements about each one of the ideas you submitted, but here's what I think would be the best combination :

- The wording from #123 but with the colors switched: green "quest" and orange "orthodontics"

- Trying to fill out the orange circle with the leaf is not looking as good as I thought it might, so let's stick with the proportions of leaf shape/size you have in #90 and #91.

- Agreed that the "bite" is nice, so let's keep that in.

- For the circle/leaf graphic, I like the colors in #111. So basically, let's keep that one with the leaf size from #90, and a slightly reduced "shine" on the leaf.

Options depending on time:
- A thin white outline around the leaf to set it apart a bit ? The green being directly on the orange might be a bit hard on the eyes and tough on printers.
- Small little "mini-veins" in the leaf coming out of the main middle vein ? See #117

Thank again, Tim ! Best of luck,

Oh and the green/orange tones from #132 are preferable in the design if possible.

Thanks !

Hello,

This one incorporates the changes you had mentioned:
- the colors switched: green "quest" and orange "orthodontics"
- the proportions of leaf shape/size in #90
- keeping the "bite" in
- the colors in #111
- a thin white outline around the leaf to set it apart
the "mini-veins"

I'll have a darker color variation shortly.

Thanks again for all the feedback, it's great.

Thank you,
Tim

This one uses a light green line around the leaf instead of a white one. Small, but it's a different look.

Hello,

Sorry for the withdraws, they looked a little fuzzy. Not sure what happened during the display or upload here, but the latest looked nice and sharp so I'm going to upload them again.

Thank you,

Hello,

This one is a different treatment of the leaf and vein edges to give a different look. There's a thin border along the lines, not just the outer part of the leaf.

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,

With this one, I returned to the big leaf idea because I wanted to see if I could make it work.
I think this bigger leaf making up most of the "Q" negative space is better than the last attempt, so I wanted to show it as an option.

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,

On this one with the new, bigger leaf I put a border around the outside of the "Q" as well as the leaf and it adds a nice balance to it. It would also help separate the elements, even at a small size.
Of course, I can change colors on this one, or add the borders to any of my other designs.
I still love the bite mark, but can also do some iterations with that removed.

Thank you,
Tim

Hello,

I thought I would go back to my first entry with a different color combination. The curves in the stem make me think of a path that isn't straight to suggest a quest.

Thank you,

...and the flip, which I think has an interesting look where the stem and the bar on the Q come together.
