Delta OutdoorLogo Design Contest

Hi, this is my original concept for your logo / brand. The brand mark is in the shape of a " D " and can stand alone very well as an icon. It also has a slightly outdoor, environmental feel. If you feel the colors are a bit too bright, I can tone it down.

Hi, I am somewhat new to this web site. I cannot seem to find the correct file format to display my designs in the proper colors. The colors in this design are actually brighter then they appear. If you like the direction, I will find a way to upload the correct file format. I also have not discovered how to withdraw an entry, so sorry for the duplicates.

We really liked #48 but we noticed that it looks really similar to the Delta Airlines logo because of the space in the symbol. Is there anything you can do to differentiate it a little bit?

Hi, thanks for the positive feedback on my last design. This is a solution that I think works very well. The basic shape of the delta and the roadway are still intact, but now the roadway portion is more pronounced and stylized and the rounded bottom completes the shape very nicely and gives the whole brand-mark a really nice flow. In total, it has a very comfortable feel. Actually, I like this version better than the first. Thanks again for the feedback - just made it better : )

What about putting the roadway vertically instead of horizontally?

Hi, thanks for the suggestion " putting the roadway vertically ". I was thinking about your logo today, when I came across an image of a highway on a web site ( www.ribbit.com ). I think this works really well and of course it's also the delta shape. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
