Here is my entry, the icon represents a generic apartment building and the i in DEI represents people.
I believe this to have a modern generic look.
As soon as I saw this, this idea popped into my head, so I had to get it out.
I don't like being first, as first has less chance but there's always a risk someone will have the same idea
and also by the end of the comp later entries look fresher and new.

The icon represents a ring of people and connection as well as buildings.
With the centre representing a group of people from different communities.

I'm very happy with this logo...
The dots represent people and connection, and the centre icon represents buildings.
The whole octogon represents the many facets of what the company does.
all in a modern, professional steel blue.
