Nice fonts! Could we see the same thing without a symbol on top or with a different one?

Hi :) My entry features a lit lamp hanging from a cut log above an historic typeface with "home luxe" written below.

I chose to create this icon to show repurposing, home decor and timelessness. These objectives are shown in the following:
REPURPOSING: the use of the log as a decorative element - I emphasized the wood grain to symbolize seeing beauty in ordinary things
HOME DECOR: the complete item itself is a lamp - which is functional - but is being used in a decorative way.
TIMELESSNESS: gas, oil or electric, there have always been lamps

This mark is intentionally abstract to be seen as either a nest with an egg or a basket - both of which could pertain to home decoration.

I do like the first bird! And even the lamp on the tree trunk wasn't bad.. We'll have to discuss among us tomorrow again I guess.
