In reference to design #1: First, thank you for your entry! A few general comments: - Your design clearly evokes our engagement with children, but we feel that this can be accomplished without resorting to having the design look like it was made by a child (which seems to be what you were going for here). - Since we are involved in gardening, it is important to us that the growing plant resemble something in nature. For example, the vine should not be floating in the air, but rooted in the ground (or at least out of sight), and the vine should have more than one leaf. - We feel that there are too many vegetables depicted. Also, the design gives the impression that these vegetables are all growing on the same vine (they're not connected, clearly, but the placement up the vine suggests that). The other thing we feel is that they introduce too many colors into the design. We hope these comments are helpful, and thanks again for your entry!
