Can you do some different colored text for Day break
12 years ago

Logo Designer
Hey there - here are some variations of color for the text: #24, #25, #26, #27, #28.

If you have a specific color combination that you would like to see, please let me know.

Thank you!

Can you show me a mix of #24 & #28. having the light blue as the day & that darker colour as the break. Also could you try break either in all caps or capitalizing the B? I like the hand written look, but feel the 'b' might be getting a little lost

Please check #31 - I have used the combination of colors as requested and capitalized the "B". In the original submissions I placed the "b" so it reaches into the icon. I left this overlapping layout in #31, but if you prefer no overlap, I would be happy to upload that variation.

I really like it #31.

I hope I can communicate this right...
Could you add some 'layer' of brush stroke to the 4 colours in the circle so it looks like a brush stroke or colours are coming out of those area's? nothing intense, just envisioning a little bit messy with that area.

does the above help?

#32 looks great. Can we see it with text all charcoal with that same font.
Can you make it so that the "B" isn't at top heavy. It draws away a little to much for us.

Also in noticing that the far right/top sphere is more oblong, could you round it out a little more.

also.

my partner wants to see it with some different fonts. http://valleybrookchurch.org/ http://www.citychurchweb.com/ for more streamlined. play around with what might look good.

Great stuff!

Hello - please check #34 - text in all charcoal. I have to edit the font to make the "B" not so top heavy. If this is still of interest, I will submit the revised design tomorrow.

For #35 and #36 - I used the same font as City Church. I love this font. I also played a little with the layout for #36.

Please let me know if you would like to see any other changes and I will be happy to do them for you.

For #34, #35 and #36 - I also reworked the shape of the right/top element so that it is now more spherical, as requested.

LOVE the way that looks. Awesome! Really liking the way that feels.

Can you add a few more touches to both those styles #35 & #36

Can you bring those four colours in so that in them 'crossing/blending' over one another they make an obscure cross? Basically bringing the orange and bottom blue closer together.

Also with the white space to do that as a yellow/sun circle. Our thought is with the messy brush strokes moving into the yellow sun/ring they then become
more solid and create the cross.

Does that make sense?

Hello - thank you for the new ranking. I'll rework the design based on your last comments as I'm pretty sure I understand. I'll post as soon as I can but it might not be until later this afternoon. In the meantime, if you can think of anything else you'd like to see, please let me know.

Thanks again,
Ignacio

Hi there -

Please take a look at #99, #100, #101 and #102. I joined the different spheres in such a way to suggest a cross as you requested. The only thing I wasn't too sure about was inner band originally in white. In #99 and #100 I treated the band in a rich yellow. In #101 and #102 I left it white as the original. I also made the very back "sun" sphere slightly more prominent to tie the whole design together.

Please let me know your thoughts. I would be very happy to continue working on this with you.

Best,
Ignacio

They look awesome. moving forward you for sure will be in our top five!

on #100 & #102 could you rotate the colors so that the top of the 'cross' is more to the right (lopsided)?

I also noticed with the newer designs you lowered the DayBreak. I really liked its placement in regards to the spheres like in #36

Awesome work!

Thank you! Please check #103 and #104 -- I have rotated the icon clockwise, please let me know if it's the right amount of rotation. With the rotation, the area where I had originally placed the text became available again so I moved the text back as you requested.

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Best,
Ignacio

Hey there - I'll make the changes to #104 and upload shortly. If it isn't a problem for you, I will also withdraw the entries that are not ranked to clean up the page.

Thank you -

Please check #158 and #159.

I have straightened the cross for each design. For #158 I used a lighter shade of yellow for the outer sphere. For #159 I left the outer sphere white.

Thank you -

AWESOME!

Could we see #159 with out the water marks/paint strokes? so it resembled more of the original ones like #26 while still keeping the overlap and the cross
12 years ago

#161 is the version of #159 without water marks/paint strokes.

It is very disappointing that after all the work I did for you, and being ranked first for the majority of the time, you didn't even rank any of my designs. The lack of consideration is surprising.

We are really bummed. You were in our running because of how much we really enjoyed your design. As we did more research (contacting several printing companies) that despite how great the logo looked it was going to cost a fortune to do all the printing we would need to do. I was really bummed and feel bad. but we know moving forward that design wouldn't work for our needs other than on a website
