To this point we have selected you as one of the five finalists. To help you shape the designs further, I offer these points about Who we are and what we do:
We are a comprehensive financial planning and asset management firm. The nature of our business is working with real people and real problems to create ways to fulfill their dreams and aspirations. We do this through a process of counsel, guidance, planning, implementing, and supporting. The theme of our business is to build upon traditional and foundational financial planning, savings, and investment concepts (building blocks) through fresh, innovative, and modern methods. We build upon the “old” while utilizing the cutting edge opportunities of today.
Our logo should be secure, confident, and straightforward while connecting the old and the new. Hopefully this will help you in creating and refining the logo designs.
Most of our panelists prefer #77 and #143 but would like to see the a bit brighter blue. There is some concern that the blue could get too bright, yet no one wants a a dull blue. Panelists would like to see some varied designs based on #77 and #143. Panelists wanted to see (as an option) if the DFM could be raised a bit higher in the pyramid/diamond, to give it some separation. We like how you used a fade in with the bright blue and wonder if that could be enhanced. We encourage your creativity in offering alternatives to #77 and #143.
thanks for the information. let me know the shade of blue he likes. and he left several. I speak of bright blue or a lighter shade? prefer the text on one line or more? prefer the plain text or classic? shine? shadows? color gradients or flat? I'll be hoping to continue the work. greetings from Spain ...
Thanks for your latest entries! Each logo should tell a story and say something meaningful about our firm, while combining elements that are central to what we do (see previous post). An example might be combining solid and safe with new and innovative. Characteristics such as “people,” “goals or dreams,” or “help” (these are examples only) could all be used to tell a meaningful story about Davis Financial Management. For now focusing on #169. Option1 - Looking for other options for comparison. Let's try a cube instead of a diamond, and raise the letters a bit, as in #173. Option 2- modifying the logo (perhaps a D instead of DFM???) and making it a watermark BEHIND Davis Financial Management. Example: http://www.gerrityandco.com/
In addition to the blue/grey color scheme, please try this option: taupe/ grey/ black/ brown on the #169 logo concepts.
The contest has been extended one day. Hopefully you can now respond to my previous post and submit revisions. I will check back as frequently as possible over the next 24 hours.
