I agree. Any ideas on how to represent "take control of your data" without a smartphone? I don't want people to think we are a smartphone company.

This is alternative design without hand like Davcon logo. But still use mobile phone.
I don't want other people judge your logo too similar with Davcon logo.

We really liked the idea of the magnifying glass as it matched our company logo. Any ideas on somehow representing "planning" in the graphic?

Is it possible to get the whole state of California in the logo and not just southern California? Southern California is not separate from the rest of the state.

I like what you have done here. I like the globe background and the magnifying glass over the area of the conference.
It took me a while to recognize that was Southern California. I don't know if most people are used to seeing it without the rest of the state. Could I see a version that has all of California?
