Possibly experiment with another FONT if you don’t mind...I like stripes crown and star—captures the themes for sure

I really like the crown with the star and I like the gold version best. The symbol for 'A' is a great idea but isn't universal for all the branches. Could the military symbol you incorporate be more universal?

The stripes evoke Army branch....consider other colors
