This is my alternative idea. Experiment to make the logo more look factory with gear shape emblem.

As for the gear's tooth i can reduce or add more if you think this is too much.

Color revision from gold to red.

Experimental version with colors from silver to royal blue.

Revision with color lighter red to red.

I like how this fade into a darker red.. lets try a sliver fading into red.. if possible.. a nice sliver fading into a nice red.. a light gold fading into a nice red.. a lighter red fading into a red .... I think this is the design i want... also i like the way you factory down at the bottom.. but did you think of any other ideas??? keep up the good work.. all my friends love this logo

- As for sign or shirt, this layout (tall/vertical) work on square format as in sign pole or store front window. They can also fit in relative small squared area like in the sleeve (shoulder area), upper chest or upper-middle back. But if you prefer wide format as sign or shirt, entry #62 will serve the purpose. Since they are the same but on different placement.

I like the color just not a fan of the difference in the logo

this is my initial proposal. Logo concept is to create standalone pictorial mark represent athlete. The pictorial mark itself created from letter "d" and "p".
