Welcome !

For #64 I chose an unfurling flag waving to show freedom, and the bright beam of light above the cloud to show liberty. I kept is iconic in shape for favicon/app icon use.

It can be flattened with less lighting effects and still tell your story, although in the modern print world the cost is the same for flatter or more 3D printing anyway.

I welcome your feedback and suggestions.

Sorry! - Left the lighting layer out by mistake. Here is the update: #65

Thanks. As of right now, your design is #1 or #2, barring other entries. Keep playing with it and give me some more variations on the same theme. Nice work.

Keep clarifying the top half (clouds/light/boundary between sky and flag)

I need some more variations on #65. Need more clarity in the top half.
1) Where is the line between the flag and the cloud?
2) From where does the light stream?

the colors you have chosen are SUPER

David - I'll be back in town late tonight and will make the requested changes at that time. Thanks.

I uploaded a new updated style (New cloud) as well as a variation on the earlier one. The new one ( #144 and #145 )have a clean blue border to help the icon "pop" off the page.

The beam of light is rays of sunlight from behind the clouds. I like the symbolism of a dawn, or bright future that the rays represent.

The flag border has been cleaned up a bit as well. The strong red stripe IS now the flags border, as it should be.

Please let me know if I can help further.

Thanks!

In case your wondering, I feel the most strongly about #145 ...It tells your message, but doesn't look like a campaign logo. (Enough of those are floating around out there these days) This is a fresh looking icon that speaks your mission, without seeming cliche.

...also, I'm intrigued by your mission. A more spiritual, less secular society is certainly what we need. Although it seems we are fleeing from that these days...just my 2 cents for what its worth...lol!
