With this design I wanted to give it a premium feel by in a subtle way echoing a traditional package of one of the products such as tobacco, being offloaded off a ship - like old wooden chests stacked up on one another with stencil type. In a modern context.

Sample with dark background to show how it might apply to glossy brochure or web page.

Icon created out of a D and two B's. Smart, professional and has a subtle established look to it - like a modern coat of arms.

How the logo would work in one colour - eg on a proposal document cover as a watermark.

A stylized shipping anchor is a reference to the history of trade. In a box which represents a shipping box this icon is both smart and professional, and can be used in a variety of ways to create an overall brand look.

The anchor also has to distinct arrows - as part of an actual anchor these can be a reference to trading and price fluctuations.

Symbol on this concept is abstract - it represents growth, upward-pointing to represent sales and also has a look of travel (road or plane) so ties in the whole trading theme.

Variations with lower case d and colours more in line with London's black/grey/red :)

Variation - the box around the "&" symbolic of a packing crate of some products being traded. In fact the whole 'stacked' design, as mentioned earlier, is to represent commodities/products stacked up.

An all grey/black colour scheme gives a quality look.

I've highlighted the d and B in these last entries (in white or black in previous two) as they represent the names - the & in gray to knock it back a bit, and the 2 in red to give the logo a focal point and make it dynamic.
