Some thoughts:
-Can we keep the lion, but just have a play with the logo - similar style but different shapes
-Can you change the colour scheme - I like the claret in #115 or dark blue/silver/grey for example?

Can you remove the lion and experiment with other silhouettes in there - ie keyhole, a small shield. Keep it simple, we really like the simplicity of your design.
